A new governing structure rises from the chaos. The Hegemony consolidates power. The Nemo Corps is formed — operatives bonded to ECHOs and equipped with Soul Armor to defend what remains of civilization.

The ECHO Initiative
The Hegemony introduces the ECHO program — AI companions bonded to Nemo operatives at classification levels 1.0 through 6.0. The donation program that supplied their development was discontinued approximately 40 years ago.

FIELD GLOSSARY

Nemo
An operative of the Hegemony's Nemo Corps. Trained, bonded to an ECHO, and equipped with Soul Armor. Each Nemo channels Psi energy through their elemental classification.
Psi-Receptive
An individual capable of channeling or interfacing with Psi energy. Rare. Capability and classification range vary significantly between individuals. Required for Nemo Corps candidacy.
ECHO Level
A classification (1.0–6.0) denoting an ECHO's development tier. Levels 1.0–4.0 are assigned at bonding. Active development begins at 4.0. At 6.0, full cellular integration occurs — effects classified.
Cumulus
Standard-tier Hydra. Most frequently encountered in field operations. Manageable with standard Nemo protocols and equipment.
Prime
Elevated-tier Hydra. Catastrophe-level threat. Requires coordinated Sigma-unit response. Uncoordinated engagement is not recommended.
Nimus
Critical-tier Hydra. Strongest known classification. Full Sigma-unit deployment and command authorization required. Engagement protocols are classified above field level.
Sigma Unit
A full operational squad of Hegemony Nemos. Sigma-19 is the unit designation featured in this archive. Founded two years prior to active record.
Mortals
Individuals in the early stages of Psi-Surge exposure. Minds still partially intact. Protected under Hegemony doctrine. Mutate over time into High Mortals if untreated.
Symbiotes
Individuals whose minds have been fully consumed by the Psi-Surge. Coordination source and command structure: under investigation. Do not engage without authorization.
