In 2099, the world ended and kept going. What follows is what the Hegemony permits you to know — the public record of the Psi-Surge, the Nemo Corps, and the squad stationed at the edge of everything.
In 2099, an energy event of unknown origin escaped containment and transformed the world. Humanity did not end — it restructured. What we call civilization rebuilt itself under the Hegemony's framework in the years that followed.
SURGE ORIGIN — LEVEL 4 CLEARANCE REQUIREDA fundamental force unlocked by the Surge. Individuals with the dominant Psi-gene can channel it through elemental affinities — fire, water, air, earth, shadow, and others. The Corps selects and trains those who manifest it.
AI companions bonded to Nemo soldiers at entry into the Corps. Their origins — and what they are made from — are among the most tightly held entries in this archive. What is confirmed: donations ceased approximately forty years ago. Every existing ECHO is irreplaceable.
ECHO ORIGIN PROTOCOL — RESTRICTEDThe Surge produced categories of infected entities. Hydras are the largest and most dangerous — gigantic organisms in three documented tiers. Cumulus-class are contained routinely. Prime-class represent catastrophe-level events. Nimus-class is not discussed in public record.
Mortals are recently infested individuals — minds still partially intact, human in appearance, mutating over time. Symbiotes have been fully consumed. Their behavior is coordinated. The source of that coordination is not a matter of public record.
COORDINATION SOURCE — CLASSIFIEDHumanity's organized defense against post-Surge threats. Soldiers with Psi-gene dominance are recruited, bonded with ECHO companions, and deployed globally. Squad Sigma-19 operates from Outpost 33 — the Corps' most remote active station.
Book One of Outpost 33 contains what this archive does not. Be first on the list when it opens for access — early readers, lore drops, and direct transmissions from the author.
